screenshots of home screen on Android 11

Does anyone know how to take a screenshot of your home screen on Android 11? With the new method when you swipe up, all of the recently used apps are in the way. And if you delete all those, and swipe up it just says no apps open. So you cannot take a screenshot of your home screen

Hold the Power and volume down buttons. The screenshot will appear in the bottom left corner of the screen.

Recents works too underneath it ..just did the power of the recents

Thanks!! I don't think I was holding it down long enough but it does work. Maybe you have to hold it longer in Android 11 then an Android 10? Cuz that's how I used to take screenshots all the time. Thank you again!

Yup a little more effort ...

A little more effort. Why design something for MORE effort? On my Pixel 2xl, and all Pixels, press the power button, and select Screenshot. No effort. Now, I have Press and Hold Power/Volume Down OR to turn off 2 button gestures, go back to 3 button so I can have the stoopid Screenshot appear. I am stumbling, stumbling on my navigation buttons now. I have that 2 button gestures for 2 years. Hate having to use the 3 button.
