What is everyone's opinion on the best and easiest way to do screenshots? Is there a way that's as easy as the iphone?

I use the app Shoot me,,,, you just shake the phone and it takes a screen shot

you can also try Screenshot it or DroCap2

quick note: you have to be rooted to use these programs. if you arent rooted, this is the only way you can do screen captures

I have heard a couple people in the threads and the market comments say that they were able to use them Unrooted, so its worth a shot, but yes you may need to root.

just as it says in the first line of ScreenShot it
"May require a rooted phone (depends on phone)"

Or is the DX a phone that there is no way around it?

If you're rooted, definitely take a look at ShootMe. As far as I'm concerned it's the easiest one to use available. If you're not rooted, supposedly a few people have gotten ShootMe to work but I'm not so sure about that. Like terpitude said, that's the only way without being rooted.

I was using shootme but about a month ago I was getting loading errors on uploads to tapatalk. Went over the drocap2 and like it better. You can take screen caps on your computer with sdk I believe but have not tried it.

If you're not rooted, you can always install the Android SDK and take the screenshots that way, but that's way more of a pain than rooting.
