Scrolling Facebook

When I scroll through my Facebook feed, the application lurches/slows and sometimes pauses on videos. I can't tell if the CPU is choking or if it's just a setting in EMUI (or in the application itself) that needs to change. So the question is this: does everybody Facebook feed lurch a little bit with videos or does it scroll freely?

Settings > Notifications & Status Bar
Display Network Speed

Lots of audio & video with auto-play
Strong wifi signal

Speed test shows normal

When installing and setup, this thing was going faster than clicking on apps to install one by one

Check system and CPU with AIDA64 why not as shows core MHz temps and more.

But FB is a resource hog. Even in background. Without adding games, apps and extras. And tracks cookie crumbs as you surf.

It does the same thing to me on my new Mate 9.....but my other phones.....S7 edge and OnePlus 3t and 7+ do not stutter when scrolling Facebook. This is the only complaint so far for the Mate 9. It is an awesome phone! Loving the camera too!

Funny. I turned off the "automatic play video" setting (whatever it's really called) and the problem went away.

Maybe, but I've had that setting enabled on every other phone I've owned (in recent history) and I've never experienced the problem.
