sd card cannot mount in clockwork recovery

I've installed ROM Mgr and CWM Recovery. I go to ROM Mgr, and select flash then Samsung Fascinate then I reboot into recovery and whatever else I try to do from there i.e. nandroid, install from sd card, I keep getting the following message. Please help.

Waiting for SD Card to Mount (#s) [# being the count down 20 - 1]
E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 (or /dev/block/mmcblk0)
(Device or resource busy)
Timed out waiting for SD card... continuing anyways.ROM Manager Version 2.5.0.7
Preparing to install ROM...
E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 (or /dev/block/mmcblk0)

Can't mount /sdcard

If you are using DL30 or EB01 you will need to upgrade to the new CWM.

There are persistent issues with the older versions of clockwork mounting.

You may also have to format your sdcard to clear up inaccurate mounts and file saves.

PS: ROM Manager uses old (green) CWM... bad.. avoid if you can.

yeah i have samsung epic 4g for sprint and im experiencing the same issue... im going to try to download the new cwm... its so frustrating.
