sd card erased ! please help

My sd card on my s3 has every picture I have but now it suddenly dissappear and the sd is empty what should I do ? Please help

- Unmount it and remount it
- Unmount it and put it in your PC
- Shut the phone down completely and boot it back up
- Connect your phone to your PC and see if the card is recognized

Thanks but it all didn't work
However I tried ti search in my files so I went to images in my files and found a new folder called thumbnails
I ooend it and found all mu pictures there and I moved them all back but the quality has reduces greatly
My pictures qualit was 1980?1080 p but now every picture turned to 280?200 p very low and my picture size was 3 mega but now its 16 kilobytes so its very low how can I increase the quality?

Please see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thumbnail to explain what thumbnails are.

They are generated based on the original pictures, so I hope those are still somewhere on your SDCard. Have you tried using the File Manager to look in:
/storage/extSdCard/DCIM/Camera

Thanks for the cloud drive and loota dumpster I didn't know about them as for the sd card unfortunately it's been erased and the only thing left is thumbnails which is better than nothing

Were the thumbnails on your internal storage?
Was it a SanDisk card by any chance?
Have you tried putting it in your PC just to be sure?

After my pictures were gone I tried to acces them by the pc but there was nothing in the pc but then I found the thumbnails on a folder in my phone memory and my sd card wasn't in my phone
