SD Card freezes Note 4

I'm looking into buying the Note4 and noticed in the specs that the max SD memory supported is 64GB - that probably explains the freezing problems with 128.

I'm no expert on SD cards but had exact same problem in a Samsung phone, older lower spec model though.
I know the Note 4 is listed as supporting up to 64gig cards but loads of people are using 128gig with no problem

This exact thing is happening to me. Probably this has been answered here somewhere else, but I have not found it. I have Note 4. I had a sandisk 64 gb card, but not the fastest one. I upgraded to a Samsung EVO+ 64gb, supposedly the best card to get. Now the camera will cause the phone to shut off (I have my pictures stored on SD card by default). Also the music will cause the phone to freeze and shut off. I am going to try the old card to see if that shuts the phone off, then reformat the EVO card and see what happens.

I've had a Samsung 128GB card in my phone for ages now and have never had a problem with it. Have over 100GB of photos, music, documents, Audible books, and misc data on it.
