SD card gs 4 probelm

So got this gs4 for about a week or so and loving it. Installed a 64GB sandisk for movies and music have no problem whatsoever. But after a while the music photos and videos is not able to be detected by the stock app so I can't see any of my music on the app or any of the video from the app but I can see them from 'my files' I also tried to installed a third party app lot like MX player for video n power amps for music but they still can't detect them unless I open it from my file. I tried remount both way restart if not I might have to wipe my SD card.If anyone know about this please help any help is greatly appreciated.

Try the search....there are many threads about 64gb Sandisk issues. Older Sandisk micro sdcards had manufacturing problem. New ones this year should be ok.

I've but most of the one I found are about corrupted SD card but I don't think mine is

How new is the sdcard?
If it was manufactured late last year it may be defective.
Sandisk will exchange for a new one....I did this myself. The new one works better without the issues you mention.

Hi.. Did you try to unmount and mount it again. I have a 64GB SanDisk SD Card and I don't have a problem my music and photos are on the card.

Yes I even take it out from the back and use a third party rescanner

Found a solution just format it but if anyone know a better way then please feel free to share. I don't wanna keep formatting every time it can't detect anyway case closed

THIS. Make sure you bought an SD card (Sandisk) that stated it was the "new" version. I had one of those older cards and had a lot of issues. Amazon actually replaced the one I had with the "new/updated" one and it has been problem free.
