SD CARD ICON

I have added an SD card to my Android 11 Nokia 4.2. It's been formatted to external storage.

Why does the SD card Icon appear at the top left of the screen? and how do I make it disappear?

Swipe down the notification panel and look for that notification. You can most likely swipe it away there.
