Sd Card Issues Please help

I bought a Samsung 32gb micro sd card and when I try to pass files to it it doesn't work. And when I put it in my phone and try to pass files from internal memory to the sd card it won't let mute it says move failed or copy failed. So the sd card won't let me write on it. Please help
