SD Card write denied for Samsung GT -N7100 Android v4.4.2

I have a Samsung Note GT N7100
Android 4.4.2

Problem:
My SANDISK SD-Card fat32 formatted on PC works fine on PC (copy/delete)
on the mobile though I can read the files put i cannot move or write to the SD card, it is READ ONLY access , as reported by the Samsung /Android OS.
However even reformatting on the mobile and mounting back , i get
message .. application has read only access to the SD card
Please shed some light and a solution

Welcome to Android Central! Does this happen if you put that card into other phones? Or what about a different microSD card in your phone?
