SD Card

So, inserted SD card and shows nothing is on it. Transferred it from my S5 Active with tons of music on it and now, nothing. Keeps saying no SD card found. I've tried reinserting it and restarting and nothing. Suggestions?

Do you have a computer with card reader to try it? I had a heck of a time getting mine to fit in the carrier properly but it worked first time. Are you sure yours isn't encrypted?

It reads in the computer. Dumb question if it's encrypted how do I fix that? It looks like it fits but each time....no SD card

Decrypt in old phone via the settings menu item.

If a computer can read it then it's not encrypted. Other than some kind of incompatibility between the card and the phone I don't have anything else. I would suggest trying one of your carrier's stores, they might be able to try it in another phone or give other advice.
Good news is, I guess, that you could copy the data off to the computer and get another card to try

Guess it will have to be a new card. Will detect it in my old phone but not new nor in friends phone. Thank you for helping

Yep...new card works just fine. Not sure what happened with the old card. Still reads in old phone though.
