Hey guys! I'm brand new to this forum, and intend to stay here, heard lots of good things about you guys. Well, I just got an HTC Thunderbolt and I can't mount the SD card. When I connect my phone, I pick Disk drive, and my computer just shows a CD Drive in my computer. It was working yesterday, but not today? Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums!

I was having the same issues when I first got the phone. When I connect my phone it prompts me to install the drivers for some nonsense software.

What I do is go to the phone and make sure it's mounted as a disk drive, then in my computer, I find the drive and open it up. The I just move my music to the music folder and what-have-you.

What exactly is going on when you connect your phone to the PC?

Well, I took the battery and SD card out, and it looked like it worked, but I have the SD and a random CD drive. Don't exactly know why the CD drive is there..

When I mount my phone as a disc drive it becomes

"Removable Disc ( N: )" because I have all my other drive letters taken.

It should come up as any other usb flash drive would appear. Then you should be able to drag and drop to it.
