SD/SIM tray wont go in all the way

[Android Central Question]

I have a Galaxy s7, and it's used. I was going to take the SD card out so I can put it in my Chromebook, and when I was going to put it in the tray, it wouldn't stay flush with the phone. Our family is pretty broke, so I can't afford a new phone. Can someone please help?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean the tray itself won't go back in all the way with the SD card out, or that the card doesn't fit properly in the tray, or something else?
