SD troubles

If this question has previously been asked, please forgive my redundancy.
I've been trying for a week to move pictures from internal storage to the micro SD card. I just replaced the card five days ago. Every way I've tried to highlight and move the pics ends with my only option being to move them to the secure folder. No other options are offered. Pretty dumb for a smart phone. Anyway, any help in accomplishing this task would be deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Android Central! What app are you using to move the photos? The Gallery app? My Files?

If you're using My Files, make sure you're exploring Internal Storage, rather than looking in the Photos category.

You need to move them with the MyFiles app, not the Gallery. The Camera folder is located in internal storage>DCIM. You will find images from most apps in various folders under DCIM.

Once you select the images you want you can select them, click move at the bottom of the app, navigate to your SD card, and click move here.

Hi welcome to AC!
Moving it with My files app i agree is the way to move it , but you can go to camera app settings and change it from internal storage to sd card so you dint have to move them future wise .
