SDC Resume Suspend

Hi! I have an LG G Flex and I installed several Mozilla add-ons related to cookies, privacy and security. They were all on the reviewed and approved list and loaded from their site. If needed I can list them. It's been working fine, but I now have a choice in FF to resume/suspend SDC. Some of the add-ons require restart and I don't want to do that until I make sure this choice is safe, and if so how to use it. Thanks so much! New user, first question.
