I just learned that my people can see my search history that I do on my android device. My wife found out that I was searching for rings on my android phone, however, she was able to see my searches on her android phone. How is it possible for someone to see my searches on another device? Is there something in google that I need to turn off so they can not see them or is there spyware on my phone? Can someone please help?

Google searches on your phone will be remembered by your Google account, and may crop up on other browsers using Google search, or on Chrome browsers, if they are also logged into your account.

I can't imagine that you and your wife use the same Google account on 2 separate phones, but is it possible that you used her phone's browser (stock or Chrome) to log into your Google account at some point? Because if you did, and no one logged you off, you will stay logged into your Google account on her browser. So if she happened to use her browser while you were logged in, she would see your search history.

If it's just the browsing history on your phone you want to delete, go to Google, click bottom left for menu>history>clear browsing data. I'm not sure what this this does to the browsing history on your PC.

However, to check or delete your Google browsing history on your PC (and therefore check whether clearing the history on your 'phone has made a difference) go to the Google browser and in the top right hand corner you will see three parallel black bars or a spanner. Click on this icon on then tools>clear browsing data and then tick the boxes for what you want to delete and how far back you want to go.

Browsing history is just that. Your browsing history. You may also want to consider emptying the cache. This stores certain information and pictures from webpages you have visited on your computer in a temporary folder on your hard disk so they'll load more quickly next time without the browser having to go to looking again for them on the web. Your cache contains a lot of information about your browsing data.

You can also delete downloads, cookies etc. There's plenty of info on these o the web but browsing history and cache are the main ones.
