Secret Samsung One UI 2.0 beta mode hints at 120Hz

Let's see how Samsung optimizes the phone so its battery life doesn't take a significant hit. With the Note 11 any such issues should have been dealt with.

Rumors are also S11 and 11+ will come with massive batteries. As high as 4900.

The option is there, but it doesn't do anything as the hardware doesn't support it. I really hope this comes true though, with minimal hit to the battery life.

I don't know about minimal hit to the battery but I do hope the rumors are true for a much larger battery to accommodate the 120hz. I also, hope you have the option to choose between 60, 90 and 120hz.

DefinitelyYes! As l long as the Battery Capacity is Enough to handle it like the 60Hz ones do currently for All Day Use.

I bought the Note 10 Plus thinking I'd keep it for a couple years (for once), but now I'm already itching for the Note 11 when it comes out.

Hahahaha. It's a losing battle. Samsung also know how to play us with these insane preorder trade in and rewards. $600 + $150 credit is not even matched by Black Friday deals. So ya, why would we not upgrade yearly? It makes total sense TO.

Agreed! Every single year I tell myself, this is the year I will settle with one for a few years and it never works out

I'm on the yearly upgrade program, so I'll be able to just send my Note 10+ in for the 11. Not sure if I'm gonna want to though. I really like the 10+

Is that the program Samsung offers or you are on another carrier program?

The Samsung one. I just joined when I got the 10+.
Ya, I looked into that back on the Note 9 but decided not to. I kind of flip flop between Note and Pixel phones depending which one pulls me in. This time it was Note 10 Plus. Who knows if Pixel 5 gonna take me back lol.

I like my 10+ enough that I may just skip the upgrade, and keep paying on it depending on what the Note 11 brings.

That's what I am doing. I plan on keeping mine until at least Note 12. By then they should have all the bugs worked out for the 120 mhz screen and the 5g in my area will be more readily available.

Because we are mature adults who don't need the latest every year???
