secure folder and Gboard don't coexist

Turned out that synced owne learned words doesn't work with secure folder enabled. Found that out after a past on Reddit mentioned it. Uninstalled secure folder and it toggled on, but it wiped my dictionary.

Anyone know a way around this? I like secure folder for sensitive documents.

Yep, known issue and been like that for ever. There is a long thread on google about it. You will need to use a different keyboard if you want to use Secure Folder. There is no fix in place.

That's where I got the info about removing secure folder. No answer there either. I still don't get the point of product forums, the company never actually helps, but other people with issues have to help. All Google/Samsung/T-Mobile/Apple does is ask for make, model and baseband to further assist, and no assistance from the corp every happens.

What I don't get about why it will not sync is that we can't use any other keyboard except Samsung for secure folder. So Gboard should not effect it at all.

... What I don't get about why it will not sync is that we can't use any other keyboard except Samsung for secure folder. So Gboard should not effect it at all.

I use SwiftKey in Secure Folder. But I am not signed into my SwiftKey account within Secure Folder, only on the phone itself, so I'm not sure of its syncing ability.
