Android Central Question

Up until today, my Galaxy S8+ did not give me warning of a factory reset if I got my PIN wrong when rebooting the device.

Now all of a sudden it's started with the threats.

I would like to keep using secure setup, but I'm paranoid some little kid or me half asleep will get the password wrong too many times.

Any way to disable the "10 wrong tries" death threat?

Go to Settings > Secure Lock Settings. Toggle off Auto factory reset.

Ecm; no such menu tree.

Only thing I got is:
Settings > Lock Screen and Security > Secure startup. Toggle secure setup on/off.

No option to disable the factory lock. There USED to be, because I remember looking this up eight months ago and disabling it but it now appears to be gone.

It is still there on my Verizon S8 running the most recent updates.

Doh, found it.

Missed it at the top of that menu, thought it was down with the other secure lock menu area.

Thanks for the help.
