Security concern

If this does not go here I apologize.

I want to start by saying I believe my phones or home wifi have been hacked for some time now. Lot of strange things happened over time.

I Would like to try and get to the bottom of this because I have a brand new S10 plus and I do not want it to start having problems previous phones have for the past year or so..

My wifi says connected, but no internet. Yet internet is working just fine.
Then I have this notification telling me to sign into internet or whatever. I get this message when I click it.

I do know my google PW were compromised somehow and some sights tell me they are receiving high or unusual traffic from me.

I have to ask for a new PW every single time I try to log into my ATT prepaid account online. When I try to type captias. Multiple letters will pop up from a single touch of a key.

My phones used to always get constantly dropped from my wifi every few minutes or so. Certain times of day were worse than others.

My mother told me of an incident that happened to her computer when I wasn't here. Said it froze up and had to call a phone number to unfreeze it. They wanted money, But luckily took mercy on my elderly mother when she broke down crying. That was 2 years ago.

Sorry for the long post and again if this does not go here, I apologize. If anyone can point me in the right direction of where I may receive help with my issue I would greatly appreciate it.

I have 3 pictures to go along with the post, but don't see a way to upload them..
Here is a link to them. I hope that's allowed.

Yeah that's a lot but it's cool considering most people barely say anything. Welcome to Android Central.

First I highly doubt that your device has been hacked. Any of them past or present... Having said that, typically if you do not allow your device out of your control or possession the likelihood of an actual hack is extremely low. Also if you are not downloading or getting apps from the internet or shady app sources again very low risks. It's safest to get things from the Play Store, Amazon Apps or the Galaxy Store.

I can't speak about WiFi routers or security on them. My best advice is to change your password once or twice a year if you're truly worried about it. As for you mom and her laptop I'm glad things worked out but those are usually just scams. There's no way anyone, except the Government, is going to get your phone number from your IP.

As for the S10... I will tell you that since the Android 10 update there have been reports of connectivity issues. Some have issues over WiFi where the device is connected to the WiFi, has a strong signal but internet is spotty. Some have issues with carrier data where the signal looks good but again the internet is spotty. Some users have had issues both ways. Not sure if there is a patch on the way but let's hope.

There are tons of things that you can do secure your accounts if you're worried about invasion. Google, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram all offer 2-Step verification. With 2SV you can get an app from the Play Store called Authenticator that generates a random code that you use to verify your ID. It's easy to use and easy to set-up and I recommend it to most everyone. It will generate codes for Google, Facebook and Samsung. I'm sure other log-ins work with it as well, those are just the 3 that I've used personally. Samsung offers Samsung Pass which allows you to sign-in to sites on the Samsung browser using biometrics from your device. I don't use the Samsung browser but I hear good things about it and Samsung Pass.

Things I would avoid are spam detector apps, antivirus apps and malware apps. These usually cause more problems on devices then they prevent. They also alert to false positives identifying native and sometimes needed apps as threats. They create panic and fear and almost always want the user to upgrade to get this or that extra benefit or just out right charge for nothing.
