Security policy prevents use of mobile data on Samsung s10e

[Android Central Question]

A few months ago I bought a Samsung s10e on amazon. Once I inserted a SIM into it and tried to turn on the mobile data it said that "Security policy prevents use of mobile data" so I tried to factory reset it and now it enables the mobile data button but there is no internet connection, nor I can call anybody. I tried the SIM in the older phone and it worked.

Welcome to Android Central! It's possible the phone wasn't refurbished properly, and there's still some kind of device management software on the phone from a prior owner. Contact Amazon or the 3rd party seller for a return or exchange.
