Security Updates for the Moto G?

after marshmallow update.. there is no security patch relese for moto g 3.. it still stuck on decembr patch... although moto g turbo alrdy got update

Moto never said they were doing monthly patches, that's a Nexus thing.

no it is not nexus thing...moto x pure edition got patches update recntly

moto g turbo also got a 52 mb update aftr andorid 6.0

That doesn't mean the Moto G will get the same patch. Is there a major concern in the January security patch? I haven't heard of one...

not tht major..but i think motorola should relese 6.0.1 frst for moto g3>to resolve bugs and bttry draining issues

No Jan patch here. I also have MM. My wife's Note 5 got updated with Feb recently.

I don't think Motorola has made any commitments with regards to monthly patching.

Yes it did. It got the November 2015 patch with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. It didn't get the December 2015 patch. It didn't get the January 2016 patch. It did get the February 2016 patch.
