Security Updates

I have the Note 4 ATT and the last Security Update is Aug 2017. No updates. Did ATT and Samsung stop support for this phone?

Bummer, I would of thought at least security updates would of kept going for a bit.

My note 4 from Verizon got one this morning. August 1st security patch. Blueborn, krank fix. It is strange tho, I already installed this update back in September

I thought so too. Seemed like August was the last one we got before this.

Google AOSP fixed Blueborne in the September 2017 patch, so if you got a Blueborne patch it is a Samsung add-on patch - that may not have changed the AOSP/Android security patch level.

It looks like August 2017 is "it" as far as Samsung trying to integrate native Android patches in. But at least Verizon and Sammy worked together to get a patch in for some of the nasties afterward. Nothing from AT&T.

The last security update I received for my Sprint Galaxy Note 4 was October 17th 2017. Not happy. I might be forced to pick up a Galaxy Note 8 without a replaceable battery. @#*&$!
