How secure is the Droid? I am in Law Enforcement and I routinely use the internet for accessing sensitive material. Is it possible for people to hack into it remotely?

it is possible but at the same point any phone can potentially be remotely hacked into. the one phone manufacturer that has pretty good security is Blackberry (the one and only good thing about their phones). though this is strictly for email if you use their corporate account. i have even heard that BB is the best phone for drug dealers because the email system can not be hacked into by police or any law enforcement. who knows how well that stands up but that's what i heard.

do i think android will be hacked easily? probably not. i would definitely speak to a phone technician so you can get the facts but make sure you speak to somebody who knows what they are talking about. a lot of them will just BS you into thinking something is right but it's not.

Thanks for the input. I was pretty sure the phone was secure but I wanted to ask first.
