Seeing other DINC's

My coworker is an iPhone user, and practically the first thing I did when I got my phone was listen to Pandora while checking my email, just to tease her. Then when I started playing with live wallpapers, she was completely is awe of the Incredible.

And when she found out "multitasking" in iOS4 doesn't apply to her older iPhone? I may or may not have gloated a bit. Muahaha.

I have seen one....at Perkin's restaurant the other day. It was a mother and she had it stock widgets and in a purple silicone case.

Iv only seen one inc in the wild since I got mine the day before launch.

But I do get a little annoyed at all the ' hey you got an iphone' crap.
As if I would ever buy a car with an automatic transmission.

I know the phones are put there. Stop hiding them people.

I have yet to see any Android phone in my area and its the 3rd largest city in PA with 3 sizeable college campuses nearby. Any time i'm out, i look to see if somebody has one, but their either the iFail, a BB, or one of those "feature" phones. I've thought for sure that I would at least see a teen at the mall or in the supermarket playing with one, but nope.

My guess is that the short supply of DIncs and Evos due to the screen shortage might be the reason. That and there really aren't many droid commercials here either.

I saw a dinc at the Rihanna Kesha concert in Mountain View, CA on saturday. It made me bummed that i had to use mine as a gps to find the concert as the battery was too drained to bring out and show off. Oh well I prefered to watch the concert in real life as opposed to through a camera lens anyways.

I was at a local bar last week, I walked by a table and low and below there was a droid incredible all alone, next to a pack of smokes. I thought this person has lost their damn mind leaving this on a table in the back on a bar! I wanted to touch it but I walked away. Slowly. The boyfriend of the owner returned from the bathroom and took post next to the phone and finally the girl returned. Ugh. I even faebooked about it. Ha ha. I have a Moto Droid which I love but I mean I like cool stuff and well that Incredible is a bad motha...(shut yo mouth).

I do tend to see alot of female customers with the Incredible, if I see 5 of them, at least 3 of their owners are female.

Never seen anyone with it, and only saw one person with any Droid phone, it was the Motorola Droid.

I was in a meeting the other day and afterward a guy comes up to me and says, "Hey, how do you like your Incredible?" And then he shows me his and we compared apps. First one I've seen in my area.

I've only seen one other Dinc, and that is a friend's, who I turned on to the device. We both love it, and I think many more people would have one if Samsung could make the screens fast enough.

Saw my second in the wild today. The local Funeral Director in town has one. He collared me today on the sidewalk and asked me to show him how to use it.

Haven't seen any in the wild as of yet; however I did get a fanboy moment as a guy asked if I was checking the weather while I was actually checking email. He had an LG Chocolate. I think he went away feeling very let down and inadequate.

Everyone I have shown the phone wants one.

I've been seeing alot lately, since I'm a tech at vzw and I tend to help people set them up. This week I set up at least 10, that's almost 2 per day.

Other than a few of my coworkers who were so inspired to get one after me, I hadn't seen any in the wild. Oddly enough, a lot of people who see my phone will immediately ask, "is that the Incredible?" At least the phone's well known, less for its shortage.

I was in the Verizon store killing time today and a guy was asking the rep if he should go to the DX. He wanted 720 video and wireless tether. The rep didn't know what she was talking about, so I told him to wait for the OTA and then to wait for froyo. I told him to come here for more info. Hopefully he joins the forums!
