Seidio 1750 mAh Thunderbolt battery in rezoned

Hi all. Brand new Android user here. Ditched my 4S and Siri for the Rezound.

Running the Rezound with stock ROM and not rooted.

Here's my question. I tried a Thunderbolt aftermarket battery from Seidio in the Rezound. Works great, but the battery level icon in the menu just shows a gray ! in the status bar. When I downloaded a battery status widget from the market, it show 88% even though the battery is 100% charged.

Should I not use the 1750 Seidio battery?

School me as I know nothing much about the Android OS other than the very basics.

It seems that the Rezound can use thunderbolt batteries, but they aren't read correctly. For now, if you don't want things wonky, only use Rezound batteries.

Is this due to the mAh difference or just the phone software?

Not that I need the extra 100 mAh I'm sitting at 20% on the Rezound batter charge and it's been on since 6:30 a.m. EST today. Not too shabby!

As I said in another thread, I use the Rezound 2750 mAh extended battery. I use the phone heavily with everything turned on and screen at full brightness, and the battery shows over 30% after 18 hours of use.

It's not the mAh difference, it's something to do with it being a thunderbolt battery. All thunderbolt batteries cause the same issue.

I can't recommend the Seidio battery. Had it in my TB for a few weeks and it ended up lasting far less than the stock battery.
