I hope the one we bought from Amazon (I'm sure we bought it from the same place because there is only one person selling it) is the updated battery door with the Mic hole

It's been about a week for me with the 4000. It really changes how I use the phone. now I leave everything turned on, play games w/o thinking about battery, charge casually (rather than compulsively), I seldom see it go below 50% in my daily routine, where I had used to easily drain the stock. so 50 is the new 0 for me, and that's with a lot more things running than before.

using it for first time today took off charger at 8 am it is after 10 and it is at 91 using e mail and streaming wfan for last hour. my oem battery i would be about 50%

I just ordered one of these from Amazon, can't wait to get it on Thursday (Prime FTW). I'm sick of worrying about my battery and I don't care if they phone will be bigger, I just need the juice!

Hey guys, I got my battery and back from Amazon yesterday, and I wanted to know if everyone else's back fits like mine? There's a noticeable gap in the sides, and the volume rocker kinda bulges in the middle.

It looks like I have the current version of the back since it has a hole in the bottom for the mic and the power button's not too hard to depress.

Just wanted to see if this is the norm before I email Seidio (don't wanna return it to Amazon because so far the actual battery is awesome!)

I think you should contact seidio. I purchased mine from Amazon and the back fits perfect maybe they will send you a new back

Thanks fkpalm, I sent them an email after seeing your post, hopefully they can send me a new back.

Four hours of listening to BT headphones in a bad reception area, with FB and Twitter pinging every 15 minutes with frequent website checks and the batteries only down to 50%, and this is just my first charge. This thing rules!

I like the resistance on the power button, but wish the volume buttons were a little easier to push. Give it a few days, the fit seems to settle, or my memory of how tight the original case fit has faded.

today is my fist day with a full charge on a new 4000 ma battery. its been unplugged for 5 hrs, had a couple of calls, text, read gnews. The battery indicator on the home screen still hasn't moved off full. I would rate the back as ok, it serves the purpose. Love this battery

1 day 6hrs untill i had to plug in (@10%) had 4g on for about 5 hrs.

Just got my battery today put it on the charger for a little bit charged from 66 to 99 then took it off because I had to go somewhere. Now I'm on the road and I sent a few text and and watched a YouTube video dropped to 84%...is that because It's new or bad battery or bad phone...I don't know

it gets better as you charge it took me about 4 or 5 charges before it worked the way I expected it to

Quick question. Do the Seidio hi cap doors have the cut out for the speakers?
I got an aftermarket 3500mAh battery and door yesterday from a local shop i get some accessories from and when i put on the door i noticed the sound was muffled. Upon closer in spection i noticed the door was cut out evenly with the side of the gladd for the 3D cameras. I looked at the HTC and saw it had a grill for the speaker since its on the side of the glass. I got this cheap enough that i will keep the aftermarket one but i am still looking for something long term.
later today i am going to try to cut back the plastic around the speakers on the battery door and see if i can improve the sound.

Yup the battery door does have cutouts for the speaker
