FYI, Seidio (https://www.seidioonline.com/) is having a spring sale with everything on their site 30% off with their (usual?) free shipping. Lucky me, as I was just on their site a few days ago, and almost bought a few cases pre-promo. I'm not sure how long the sale will last.
I got their new Convert Combo case for the S7. The case looks really great, striking the right balance between slim form factor and protection. The set basically takes their conventional two-layer Surface case and adds a third, rugged outer layer that you can slip on as needed. The holster that comes with the set appears to be a new design, and allows for the belt clip to be removed.
I'll report back after I get the case. I also got a Seidio for my Nexus 5x, but just the Surface since they don't make a Combo for the 5x and per the Seidio rep I connected with, don't plan to in the future.
