My ? is the battery the same physical size as the one that comes with the Note 2 or is or is it thicker?
If you know, I'd sure would like to know.
I coming from the Thunderbolt, which wouldn't last much more than 3 hours, so the Note 2 is great but if I can get more mAH without increasing the size I will.
Thnx

I don't think you need to get an extended battery for the note. I have had my phone for a month and noticed it lasted 18hrs with 24% left on moderate use. I always had extended batteries on my other phones so i know. lol

thats the main reason I got this phone is to get through a day of regular use, that and its a bad mamajama...

I doubt you will need a bigger battery. I came from the Thunderbolt too and the difference is huge. The Note 2 comes with a standard battery that is larger than the extended battery for the T-Bolt, plus it is considerably more efficient. And if you were to need to charge it in the middle of the day, it charges very quickly.

I came from the Thunderbolt as well. While the Note 2 gets great battery life in comparison, if you're looking for additional run time I'd highly recommend the Samsung Spare Battery Charger (link and pic below) instead of a third party battery. It comes with another stock 3100mAh battery and also makes a great stand (portrait or landscape) which helped lessened my concern of losing the Thunderbolt kickstand. :) I believe you can still get 50% off by signing up for a Samsung account.

There is a thread on here about the 4100mah battery that I and others have purchased. Give a look through as I am happy with the purchase. Can go a day or two with out charging and heavy use and it's same size as stock.

Admittedly, I haven't used the device a whole lot today, but it has been off the charger for 9.5 hours and it's still at 86%. Made a few phone calls, checked email a few times, FaceBook a few times, and other random things. I have GPS and Bluetooth turned on. The Thunderbolt would have been dead with the same usage.
