Self repair question on Broken screen/digitizer AT&T GS3.

So, long story short, I cracked the glass on my S3 and it's no longer displaying a damned thing.

I still get calls, the phone still works, everything appears to be functional. I play music using voice commands, but that's about all I can do, aside from reject calls.

That being said, is it a guarantee that I'm gonna have to replace the digitizer? Should I just replace the glass and go from there? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

Your best bet is to just replace the whole screen assembly - replacing the glass is a very iffy proposition. http://m.repairsuniverse.com/samsung-galaxy-s3-screen-assembly-replacement-white.html (or look on eBay or your favorite purchasing site).
