Hello,
I wanted to ask for some help about my new Samsung Galaxy A8 2018, which I got a few weeks ago.
The Rear Facing camera works really good in any type of situation, no complaints about it.
The Selfie camera works really good in good lighting situations, for instance being outside or sitting right beside or under a lamp. But, whenever i get further away from a light source or it's just dark in my room, the camera starts being really laggy, a lot of motion delay, it ''ghosts'' basically. When I start recording, it fixes itself. I couldn't care less if I just wanted to take photos, but whenever I want to record a video Snap or do Video Chat in snapchat or do an Instagram Livestream, the app doesn't use actual video recording and it just uses the photo live feed ( AKA the one which is really laggy ), so it looks really bad.
I suspect that this is because of some kind of Auto Night mode, but I can't manage to find how to turn it off and it's really bothering me.
Also my previous Phone,Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) never had this problem and all of the features i mentioned above worked way better than on my new device.
Any Help ? Any Settings I should change ? Outside Apps ?
EDIT: When I activate the in-built selfie camera night mode, it looks pretty much completely the same.
