Selfie camera question

I'm seeing better detail in my N20U. I took beauty mode on and off selfies in both but on the N20U I see more details in things like the lines in my lips, individual brow hairs, etc. With that said, I do think it was emphasizing any imperfections a bit more than I see in a mirror. Maybe the contrast someone else mentioned, like even my beauty mark looked darker and my eye color a bit darker than the N10+ and in person. (I stayed still and took them in the same spot/lighting.)

I've been struggling with this now since I got mine in October. My s10 crashed when I was on a trip and bought this at a best buy, thinking this was going to be an upgrade. Wrong. Not only is my skin ultra smooth but it actually tints my skin to a paler pinkish hue. My skin is warmer toned. I've done everything I can in all the settings, even took it back to best buy thinking mine was defective. We compared it to the floor model side by side. Unfortunately no. It's how this new camera works. So frustrating because I use selfie mode a lot. So disappointing. I'm wondering if there's another camera app to install that has more accurate coloring and not the fake porcelain smooth. ... Also... Make sure you turn TONE to as far left. It is preset to already smooth MORE. I just want to look like me, not a pale porcelain doll!
