Sell my oneplus one? Or my g3?

Shouldn't have to do that with a finished product. That make the OPO lose outright to me on just the one point.

What device out there hasn't had some type of issue at release...?

At least the minor issues with the OPO is fixable and mostly acknowledged.

OnePlus One...Need I Say More...

Ive had the G3 since release and my OPO should be arriving today. I've recently gotten obsessed with the 5.5" screen size and couldn't wait for the G3 because to be released. Unfortunately, I have connectivity issues where I stop receiving data when not on wifi and I have to airplane mode it every few days, it can be pretty laggy with that processor pushing all of those pixels and I want a more vanilla Android experience. Ill chime back in later tonight with a quick comparison.

I had the G3 at launch and while I liked it there were some things I just could not get past. I paid full retail of $624 for the device. I feel the QHD screen while razor sharp was dull and hampered battery life and cause heat. The bloatware and carrier IQ just added too much that I did not want to deal with. I had a friend offer me an OPO invite but I refused to get the Z2 which I loved, but Sony updates every 6 months and the glass back scared me.
I then did get the invite and ordered the OPO. All I can say is wow. I received it one week ago today (8/20) with a build date of 8/7/14. No yellow tint and it just flies! Two updates were waiting and got 33R Thursday night. While it is not perfect, it is a great device and I really enjoy it. Glad I have the OPO instead of a G3. Best 364 I ever spent!

Ahh looks like mines coming tomorrow and not today. The tracking just updated. Anyway yeah, I can't wait to get mine. I just want a good, stable and solid phone. I loved the nexus 5 until I cracked the screen. Then I bricked my M8 (by brick i mean too lazy to fix it with a few command lines). And that's when I really liked the bigger screen. I thought the G3 would be perfect but I think they took a chance on the higher resolution screen and the 801 processor and, from my experience, it hasn't worked well. Maybe the G4 will bring me back because I do like the rear buttons. But for now, the OPO may be my next phone for a while.

Do you feel the One will be better than the Note 4?

No. I think the Note 4 will be the powerhouse of the year. I love the Note series and had Note 1 & 2 but I felt like it was getting too large...then I got a OPO! LOL! If you like the size and the S Pen, I think the Notes are the best device going!

My plan is to get the Note 4, but I would like to try the One.

My OPO should be here Tuesday. Will decide by Friday on what to do. The G3. Works great but has some issues. Carrier bloat is my biggest. Coming from the N4 I got spoiled. Not ruling out the next Nexud or Motorola either.

Dont buy the Note 4 if you care about bloat!

Would never buy the Note 4. Not my cup of tea. After the Droid Charge and Galaxy Nexus. I can never go back. Never Settle indeed.

Sell the G3. It's worth more off contract because of the retail price, plus the OPO has better battery life, performance and the software experience is miles better.

Got my OPO today. So far so great. Will sell the G3 tomorrow. Only gripe is camera is a little less in terms of focus.

I'm really stuck on which device to get. Tired of the note 3. It must go away. Thought I would like the g3 but not impressed with LGs UI. Motorola is supposed to be making a big announcement tonight. Interested to see what that is. If nothing too exciting than will probably get the One plus. Damn am I going to miss the SD card though.

And the Motorola will be $500. Not bad. I am selling my G3, buying the Motorola (unlocked no bloat version) in Burgundy or black leather. And be done. Love this phone, but a truly one of a kind device is very tempting. I wish the camera was a little better on this. So far in my two days it is just OK. The camera on the G3 on the other hand awesome.

Good luck. I too like the looks of the new moto x. I wouldn't expect a better camera experience though. They are known for making pretty mediocre cameras

So far the camera looks pretty good. That's the one thing that isn't so great on the OPO. The G3 blows it away.

Unless you really need a camera full time is it worth a $300 price difference? I've used a moto x and moto g, unless there's drastic improvements, Motorola's cameras have slow focus times. You'll miss the shot

I've seen some great OPO pics out there. Just haven't been able to figure out how yet. Selling the G3 tomorrow. I like the money more than taking excellent pictures. Lol.

Right, if it comes down to selling one or the other you'll definitely be able to get more money for one of the flagships versus the OPO - everyone who wants an OPO mainly does for the price and carrier unlocked status. I love my OPO but I'm beginning to get very eager to see the new Nexus. Those offer more carrier options. I'm crazy.
