Selling Evo 4G

I just preordered my Evo 3D and was wondering what people thought about selling their old Evos

Would you advise selling now and downgrading to an older phone (I have my Pre still so don't think it will be a hassle to use that for a few weeks) or wait until it comes out to sell?

Only worry about waiting for it to come out is the flood on ebay but don't want to be screwed out of having to use a different phone for a long time

I'd definitely sell it now if you have a back up. You'll get a good price on eBay, and you could even put a custom ROM on it. Lots of people are scared to do it, so they'll pay a premium for one that has already been flashed/unlocked. I agree that it won't be worth as much when the Evo3D comes out (at least until initial sales wear off), so don't wait too long. Either way, RS will give you $100 for it if you buy the Evo3D according to the yet to be confirmed ad.

Personally, I'm keeping mine as a tech toy. I will try different custom ROMs and see what cool things I can make it do. Maybe I'll make it into some sort of wireless media tablet for everyone at home to use (if that's possible).

For sure sell it now so earlier so better because u will get higher resell value. And a Pre isnt a bad phone special if u can overclock it to 1.1 ghz that works on all pres the 1.2 ghz only on few. but yeah u should sell your evo as soon as possible so u get more money. And all you accessories you have for it too. I wish u the best of luck in getting a very good price for your evo.

I am in the same boat. Last year I sold my TP2 and all my accessories and had to use my purple lotus for like just for like 3 or 4 days. Sprint said if I bring my phone in now I'll get 150 for it but I was wanting to put it on Craigs List with all my accessories and try to get more than 200. I have 2 extra cheap batteries with a wall charger,cases,and it has a screen protector on it and I have this desktop charger I got from Seidio. I had planned on putting mine up on Craigs List by the end of this week. And if I have to I'll let Sprint give me 150 and maybe sell my accessories separately on Craigs List. I don't know what to do but I want the EVO 3D now really bad but don't know if I can be without my phone from now until 6/4. I am unsure what to do. Maybe I can put it on Craigs List now and see who offers me what and see if there willing to wait a week or so before making the transaction.
