As you may have already noticed the SEND button can get very close to the words when texting and when I have to select one of the words sometimes I hit SEND instead

Is there an App or something you can do to change the layout? Or maybe another idea to stop this from happening.
I know I can put the phone on Airplane Mode and be safe that way but I don't want to have do that every single time :p
Any help would be appreciated, thanks for your time :)

(FYI-I am using the default keyboard and Stock ICS)

Probably have to try a new messaging app, goSMS or something. Not sure, since i can't think of another place to put the send button. The stock android one would drive you even more crazy, as it's put where the attachment button is. There might be a different keyboard that puts the suggestions somewhere else as another option.

Thanks for your suggestions. I tried goSMS and Swiftkey and they both have the SEND button in the same spot! Wow I can't believe devs would do that
I doubt I'm the only one who presses SEND on accident. I would put it on the top somewhere or at least have an option to have a prompt pop up and ask you if you're sure about sending the message.

Any other suggestions/ideas are appreciated.

Over 200 views and still no other ideas? :(
That's unfortunate, oh well it looks I will have to continue to use Airplane Mode when doing a longer than usual text mssg :-\

Check out "Thumb Keyboard" in the play store. Not sure if its exactly what you want, but it has some different layouts, one of them may help.

Try Swype, you have to download it, its easy and free.
The button is still close to the words, but I havent had any problems hitting send on accident.

I am trying messaging apps now. Using pansi at the moment. Seems to work pretty well. The button is a little more spaced out
