Send more than 10 sms at a time

A friend has a Samsung Galaxy S2, he regularly has to send out a group sms to around 80 people.

However, his phone does not want to sms to more than 10 people at a time (making this a real pain).

We have tested GoSMS pro and a few apps, with no luck.

What can we try?

Why not just make 10 groups of 8 in each group and get buy the restriction that way?

I did that, but I thought there must be an easier way to do it.

I don't understand the 10 sms limit either. Does not make sense to me.
