Send S3 to Samsung for screen repair, they send back refurb phone. Should I be angry?

Yea I'd probably be pissed too. They could've at least sent a refurbed that wasn't all dented and scratched up. I would call and to them.

And that one's beyond silly.
And I bet you would have said that 15 years ago if someone told you airlines would charge you to take a suitcase on a trip.

Sent from my totally awesome Sprint Galaxy Nexus, even if I don't know all its secrets yet.

No, it's silly because of the economics involved. Manufacturers give you a refurb cell phone because it's cheaper for them to do it that way. I can't imagine it will ever be cheaper to give you a refurb car than to do an oil change. Or a transmission change.

To echo what the others have said, I've had cell phones "replaced" several times over the years, and every time, I get back a refurbished phone -- it even says to in the shipping info that comes back with the phone. The warranty terms nearly always include something like "repair or replace ..." So basically, it's their choice and there really is nothing we can do to change that. And yeah, it sucks.
