Hi all, Android noob here, escaping from iOS.
On iOS within any app, multiple options are available when clicking on a phone number contained within any text in any app. Eg: save to contacts, call, message etc etc.

Today somebody sent me their number in a Facebook message and the only option I had in the "complete action using" popup when clicking on the number was to call it or Skype it.

I wanted to SMS it, or at least save it to contacts.

Can I not do this?

Using 4.3 on an HTC One. And GoSMS

Thanks!

On my S2 Skyrocket and S3 it provides the options (dial, SMS, add contact, copy) if you long press the phone number.

Galaxy S4 gives the option to Call, view contact, send message, or copy message text when single clicking on a number. I don't have any experience with the HTC one so I can't provide any help. I wonder why HTC doesn't include this featured that is apparently built into android.

You would probably be better off taking to an HTC forum, it seems like part of their skin.
