Send SOS messages question

My Ultra22 phone was enabled for Send SOS messages. While manipulating the phone in my pocket, SOS messages were accidentally sent to a few people by text messages. Is that because I had this feature turned on? If I toggle the button to off, this should not happen again...correct? Thanks!

On my Samsung A21, the "send SOS" feature is under advanced settings, and there are a few different details in terms of what will trigger it, in terms of presses of the side key. I suggest you look at that setting and hopefully it will answer your questions.

On the S22 Ultra, it's found in settings, safety and emergency, send SOS messages.

That's a pretty cool feature. Definitely wouldn't want to be triggering it by accident though

In your pocket your able to press the power button 3 or 4 times ?

I was trying to raise/lower the volume button as I had a podcast app running that I was listening to, but the SOS messaging became activated inadvertently.
