Send text as email?

On my Berry I could forward a received text as an email. I do not see that option on the Photon, is it possible? On the Berry, I would "right click" the message and select "Forward as email" and it would automatically turn the text into a regular email message.

Just long press on the message choose forward

then enter the email address in the to: field

But, then it send as (mynumber)@messaging.blah.blah.com . I prefer to forward it as an email from me@mymailhost.com.

well then you will have to copy text and insert into new email

Or enable google voice and use the Voice app as the default app to send/receive messages. it's what I do.

That is what I have been doing. I was just hoping there was a more automated way of doing it.a
