sending disabled

[AC Question]

When I try to send a picture via a text message, I get the "sending disabled" message. I do not know how this happened, and I don't know how to fix it.

Check to see if your messaging app is set for sending MMS as that is how pictures are sent. You may have changed it in the app settings.

Did lots of forum searching - just switch app from message+ (or whatever you're using) to the green Messaging app - then it works.

I like Google messenger but yes that won't let me send either... says sending disabled so I too went back to green messenger app

I do not know what this is or means. This "sending disabled" prevents me from sending text messages.
