I live in a neighborhood that has a major dead zone where I get no mobile data signal so many times I have to send over map directions from my phone to the car head unit. Android Auto used to make it easy to do that but I don't want to use Android Auto. Is there a way that I can do this easily via Bluetooth alone? I used the Android app join by Jao apps to do this but it's very unreliable and doesn't work because it requires the internet to share data. I was wondering if there is an app that does this purely through Bluetooth alone.

Unless your car specifically supports that feature (and most that do, still require the directions to be sent via mobile data/WiFi to your vehicle), I'm afraid not.

You can always enable offline directions on your phone in Google Maps, however. That way even if you are in a dead zone, your directions will not be lost.
