Sending recorded videos?

Hey guys,

Im trying to send a video to a buddy of mine through either E-mail and sms but it wont work for either. For SMS, it says the files too big and through E-mail, it says its unable to send it. Im sending the video through my hotmail account and it said that it wasnt able to due to the wrong setup even though I have that email synced to my phone to recieve emails. Is there something I have to do to switch settings in my email account to allow me to attach videos?

in the video settings you have to change it to the worst resolution so it can be a smaller size... or use the app qik

If your mail service won't send it and it was not shot for MMS (lowest resolution), then you are SOL for that particular video. You'll have to transfer it to a computer to send it. Changing the setting in the video camera or using Qik will only work for NEW videos. So do change that setting if you want to be able to MMS your videos, but that won't do anything to help you with this particular video.

Unless there is a video editor in the market? I'm new to Android, so I don't know. Who knows, there may be an app that can resize the video for you. Google it.

I did just that and it says it still wont...Not only that but now I keep getting spammed by my phone that my memory is low and I cant open anything. Any program I open now Force closes... awesome

use the app Qik... when you record a video it automatically uploads it to your Qik.com profile.. then you can tell your friend to visit your Qik site so he can see it

It says I need an SDcard in order to record using Qik... I dont have one. Any other options? Oh and also, when I goto record It says "Unable to buffer on the phone due to low memory. Free up some memory and try again... This is getting extremely frustrating.. Another problem risen with this damn phone.

And lastly, how do I know what my qik profile is? Or the address? No idea

Try YouCast. It allows you share the video directly with the recipient. no go through web site. It's available at market://search?q=pname:com.youcast.android.UI

If you do not have SD card when using Youcast, make sure you change the PATH in the setting.
