Sensation Issues

Yea the benchmarks were higher on the GS2 and the contrast on the samsung is alot better than the Qhd screen. The samsung is a little over saturated though but not too much. I think i will have to see them screens infront of me to decide scince video of screens tend to be disceptive.
Sense is alot more than weather animations, to be honest i would prolly turn some of that off depending if it annoys me but like i said before you cant deny the plain drab look of touchwize its a basic UI nothing special to all the extras and look of widgets/icons etc.
As to the web pages loading the GS2 was faster no doubt but like a second or 2 max? at the end of the day with these minor differences we have to play with them both to decide. For me IMO the E3D has more going for it with the unlocked bootloader and soon to have OpenSense development for me its a no brainer but well see how it goes, still need more reviews.
Both are sweet phones and i look forward to seeing them in person.

I've looked at a SAMOLED+ back to back with a superlcd qhd and I'd take the sense qhd over the samoled anyday. touchwiz looks blah and cartoony.

There is no lag because hes pressing one button and sitting there to show off what it does. He wasnt using it quickly as most people would, switching back and forth between apps and screens.

Are you for real? He wasn't using it quick enough. Lmao. For someone that has a pure Google phone, your not much of an Android fan. Most of us Android guys like all these phones, and sure as hell don't try and fabricate things to find a way to trash them.

The bottom line is HTC makes a great Android device and both the Sensation and the 3D will be very popular phones on their respected carriers. There is a reason why the EVO 4g was/is still selling like hotcakes, its a great Android device. HTC improved on that platform, with both of these devices. It's fine if you don't want one, but quit trying to talk everyone out of buying a great phone because you're a Samsung fan now. Samsung has a good device in the Nexus S and the S2 is a beast, but the EVO 3D threads aren't the place to post about them.

Not only because the S2 outdoes it in nearly every category from screen and speed to battery and weight, you cant even hold it with your hand touching the back of it or it loses wifi signal. That is unacceptable. I do like HTC but their last few phones have been pretty bad. I expected ALOT more from them. This phone is very weak IMO.

Ok already, We get it. There is nothing good about the Sensation or Evo3D. If the the galaxy
S and nexus are so wonderful why aren't u in their forums singing their praises instead of being here nitpicking and trying to create issues and generally just being annoying?

The Sensation in your eyes is a disapointment becasue one phone can load a web page 1 - 2 seconds quicker?

I guess I can understand the wierd back panel signals but other than that the Sensation looks to be an amazing phone.

Let me ask you this: Is the new Camaro a disappointment just becasue it is not as good a car as a Ferrari?

I am sorry Focus but it does not seem you want to see anything good from the Evo 3D...it seems like for some crazy reason you want it to fail so hard.

I like what I am seeing out of the Sensation and especially Sense 3.0....the phone may be a little bit slower than the S2 but is still faster than any other phone I have seen out there.

If you want to see something good from the 3D then start looking for the good in its sister phone instead of nitpicking it to death.

Thanks for the videos. Yes, I am going to be a hater again but jeez, my NS4G is snappier than this thing. Live wallpapers are making it lag? LOL I have some pretty crazy live wallpapers on my phone and it never even slows down let alone lag. That Photon with the Tegra 2 sure looks quick too. 1970 Quandrant? My NS4G got an 1846, wow. I am going to blame this on Sense 3.0 for sure. Looks like the Vista of mobile phone OS so far. Pretty to look at but its a memory hog and not too fast.

Benchmarks don't mean flying flip when you're comparing two different chipsets with two different resolutions.

Nope, but you are gonna be mad when my "outdated" Nexus is running ICS and your phone is still stuck on a year old version of GB LOL. Hell, my Nexus is already running a newer version of Android then your brand new phone will be LOL

So what if you get ICS before us? It wouldn' t matter if the Evo 3D will get it within 6 months of it being released. Damn update whore...

The sensation is one of the fastest phones on the market. And you'd be lying to say that the S2 doesn't have wifi issues of its own. I like the S2 and Evo 3D (I'm actually torn between the two) but don't act like the S2 doesn't have flaws of its own...

The Evo 4G had the same problem, mine was one of the problem phones, it was a software fix.
