sense 3.0 is a coming

This is more for are stock friends

I wish bamf forever weren't final because much of it must have been taken from other phones. I would think 3.0 designed for the bolt should be more efficient. This will be interesting. I wonder if htc is trying to keep us happy until we get ics?

So does that mean you wouldn't have to be rooted to flash this, or you just showing what the next OTA update may be?

Looks like you may be able to flash it as an ruu like when you grab an update early. It was released by open mobile not vzw so I doubt it will be an official vzw update. Makes it kind of risky if not rooted imo.

Don't flash this unless your rooted. Hopefully this should be a future ota but there is no guaranties

Betcha chingy updates g3d. Forever seems more abandoned since the kernel went to poop after 1.09. I keep hoping adrynaline will come repimp the kernel.

He is an amazing dev.

Why settle for Sense 3 when you get 3.5. Infected Eternity, BAMF Soab 1.04, and Mikrunny (same guys that do Gingeritus) are all Sense 3.5 Roms.

As I said this is. More for users who are stock and don't want to root and this would be a huge upgrade

I prefer sense 3.0 to 3.5. I think a lot of people do. In fact I can't think of anything I liked better in 3.5 and I've used soab and infected. Nice roms but how are they better?

Plus once the official build gets release there will be a full functional version of the OS, right now a number of 3.0 and 3.5 roms are floating around but the 3.0 roms are more stable.

I dont think TB will see a official 3.5 build so I do not see this ever becoming a reliable, stable OS for everyday users...

I see your point. I know all the Sense 3.x based Roms are all ported over from other devices which adds to their instability for use. I prefer the 3.5 though just my preference. I have used the Gingeritis 3d for a while and it was a good Tom as well. I am waiting for CM9 right now.

So for a dummy like myself, what exactly does this mean? What specifically makes 3.0 better? Or any of the rooted options better?

Doesn't really mean anyone one or the other is better, pretty much comes down to preferences and what the individual user likes. Rooting just allows you to remove the bloatware on the device itself the carrier pits on there that a lot of people do not use. It also let's you do a lot more customization such as change processor speed, skins, fonts, icons and so on. Most of these options are dependant on the individual Rom that you have loaded. Overall most of the time the outcome is considerably much better battery life.

I prefer the 3.5 ROMS with the Rosie..I just like that Rosie better...fyi the Rosie is quick launch at the bottom of the screen that has your app drawer and phone and customize buttons...

Now I'm interested. So phone directory listing, emails, etc. can be made LARGER by rooting? I haven't seen that in the rooting threads. Guess I need to do some more searching. Thanks.
