Sense 3.0 only supports "newer" devices, WHAT!?!

I pretty much expected this.. and thats why I just bought mine outright. I was just telling someone on XDA the other day, after the Evo set the standard youll pretty much never see one phone be an exclusive for a whole year anymore aside from the iphone. A new android phone comes out nearly every month these days. More than likely ill be jumping from the TB to the Bionic since it seems that Motorola isnt going to be too hardcore on locking the phones down like they were.

I too bought the phone outright, and am glad i did so. I don't want to get the first wave of Dual Core phones anyways. I would rather get a later more refined dual core phone. Next february is gonna be awesome lol. I just have to be sure to get a really great phone since i will be locking into a 2 yr contract.

This is why I went for the Thunderbolt. I bought it on a 2 year contract because I'm the owner of the account and my mom has an upgrade in October so I'm going to take her upgrade and probably not use it until February and then give my mom the Thunderbolt. I think next year will be about the pinnacle of phone technology.

I know technology is always changing and getting better, but just look at TVs and computers, they have gotten to the point where they can't do much else except make them more power efficient, smaller (i.e. slimmer), or with TVs do 3D or internet. They are trying to cram 3D down our throats even though it's been a colossal bust in retail, but I digress.

HTC Sense 3.0 will only support Sensation, EVO 3D, Flyer and newer devices, older hardware left behind -- Engadget

ok, read the article, calm down, and read it again. is HTC really serious??? they do say etc so the thunderbolt may be included but I doubt it. i'll bet it needs at least a 1.2 ghz processor to run. XDA here I come!

TB is NOT going to get Sense 3.0, but I wouldn't worry, because if it DID get the new UI, the puny 1400 battery would probably only last 5 minutes.
