Sense 5 Roms and DNA Camera performance

Hello all! I have been running Viper Rom with Sense 4+ for several months and have absolutely loved it. Of course I have been running Nova Launcher but that is besides the point.

I used Tranquil Rom with Sense 5 a couple of months back. It was great apart from the camera performance. Pictures I took were stuck in an awkward aspect ratio as well as being low in resolution. At the time there were no official releases of Sense 5 on any phone but the HTC One. With that in mind I attributed my camera problems to the Ultrapixel nature of Sense 5 at the time.

I am thinking of flashing another rom onto my DNA and was wondering if any of the current releases of Sense 5 roms have any camera issues or performance depredations compared to sense 4+ roms?

The same question goes for the Google Play and CM10 roms for the DNA. I would prefer to have an idea on which ones are the better choices before I spend hours flashing different roms and finding one I prefer.

Thanks guys and gals,

Andrew aka fatproduce

I've been running Newts sense 5 with android 4.2.2 and loving it. Has a few minor bugs but a update is supposed to come today to fix them. Camera has been replaced with a 8mp version that still has the Zoe feature. The only major bug is mobile hotspot does not work but I believe is fixed in the update to come today.

I'm running Carbon with 4.3 and I love it! I came from Viper which I liked a lot as well. I think I like the non Sense roms better. The AOSP camera works better than the HTC camera software that came with the DNA imo.

I've had literally probably 40 phones this year, and I like carbon rom on almost all of them.
