Hey guys. Just put a new zagg glass shield on my phone. Problem is it isn't as touch sensitive as the previous one. It's there a way to turn up the sensitivity is my screen? Other thoughts?
Thanks!

Turn it upside down flat on a table with some decent weight on it and leave it for 1-2 hours. I do that when I install and it helps.

There isn't. Zagg did that to mine too. Using white dome now and it's as good as going naked
I dont use screen covers and this is the only one Id have any remote interest in using. My concern would be case compatibility. I have a few cases that are very different from each other design-wise

This sounds like a good idea. However, I suspect that during the installation the center of the screen protector wasn't pressed down while applying pressure to the edges where the adhesive adheres. So, the protector may be riding a bit high on both the sides and the center, causing sensitivity problems. If that happened, I'm not sure that applying pressure to the screen, now, can help, but give it a try.

(My Zagg works great, but I didn't install it. I did, however, watch an expert at Verizon do it, who explained to me the importance of getting the body of the protector pressed flat BEFORE getting the edges pressed down.)

Incidentally, IMO, the reason there is such a diversity of opinions about any of these screen protectors, is that correct installation is so critical to their performance. While the procedure may look simple enough, if you don't install it perfectly, you aren't going to be happy.

thanks guys. I appreciate you taking the time to reply. I was a little concerned when the Verizon person put it on. she didn't use that red frame or anything. just cleaned the screen and put it on....I wonder if I should take it back and make them do it over?

I would go back and complain about the installation. Ask who, there, is most experienced installing protectors on edge screens. It sounds like the person who installed your Zagg, only installed protectors on flat screens, where a mounting frame isn't needed.

I went back and had them put a new shield on. then used a hair dryer on it to help. works great now

Your experience proves a point. So often, a certain screen protector, like the Zagg, gets a bad reputation, only because it isn't installed right. Admittedly, a great product should be also easy to install with no room for error, but we are imperfect humans so that isn't likely to happen.
