I am using the Stock ICS email client with an exchange account. When I look at the "Sent" email folder, all emails are displayed with my name in the email list view. For sent mail, it should show the names of the email recipients; not the senders name. This is how most email clients perform.

My question is: Is this the way it is for everyone, or just something I am seeing? Remember, this is not the Gmail app, but the stock email app.

You're not the only one. And it's not fixed in 4.0.4 either.

Checking settings in owa web client, have a feeling it is related.

Will post more when i know.

Re: No recipients names appear in the Sent folder in Android Gmail. CRAZY!!

This functional CURSE is once more back to haunt us. WHAT'S GOING ON, Gmail!?!?!

Just as the original poster comments, above, it only makes sense to see the RECIPIENT'S name in my sent folder........not the Sender! I'M the sender..........and I think I KNOW that without opening every message to look. (Which is what I HAVE to do if I want to find a message's RECIPIENT.)

This is crazy. Come on, Google, Gmail, whoever screwed this up. Let's get the recipient's name in the very first column we seen in the Sent Folder.

Thank you. (Oh.....and make it SPEEDY!! This is a big PITA.)
