Seperate Notifications?

I have had my Optimus for about a week now, and am used to having different notification sounds for each: Texts, emails, and voicemails. So far I can only find a way to make one sound for all three. Is it possible to set up different notifications for each? Thanks for your help

While in the messaging app click the menu button and go to settings, do the same from the email app.

settings>sound> and then you can change the phone and notifacation tones, as for email your probably going to have to do that within the app i think maildroid lets you do that
